That's very normal at least in India ,there are very few people , I would say only 5 % who know about their goals in life.
But we normal Indians see our parents, brothers growing in some xyz area and we tend to follow them.
Now you must be seeing lot of boom in IT ,and I am sure most of you will end up working in this lucrative field.
But honestly you won't find satisfaction if you don't have interest in computers , codes blha blha.
But you know I would suggest get in to any field if you need money ( If you don't have financial support from family )as soon as you finish your grads. Rather than sitting ideal at home join the industry see the career options available over there.
If you like it you can continue or else you always have option of switching .
Now at this place(in company) the situation is different , you are not sitting ideal you are earning something , so obviously nobody is going to give any taunts.
I hope money should not be a problem at this time .
See even if you get 10k pm please go ahead and enjoy the work.
Now when you come back just don't waste your valuable time spending money on waste . Yes waste ..I am sure most you will buy new mobiles ,new clothes and all unnecessary things..but remember friends we are here to find our career path.
So just save that money rather than spending. This money will be very helpful in your near future.
So now when you are on the job , just come home read about things which you like most. Explore the career options available in that area,see what are prerequisites to enter in that area. Spend the earned money on that.
Now connect to points ,you should be expert in this. Just see how can your past connect to your future. Once you have mastered this you are almost there.
Now another important thing , don't compare yourself with others . Just see where are you satisfied more . Money is the not the solution to happiness , just because he is earning 1 lakh he is not rich. So be focused on what you want to do in life ,your interest.If you could do your career in your area of interest ,you will be the happiest man on the earth. So as I said earlier don't say no to opportunities , just take it , don't sit ideal. This will reduce the burden on you .
